Meet The Team
Rob holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering from Western University.
After three years of development, two publications, and three international conference presentations on the probe tube placement simulator, Rob acquired funding to bring the first simulator to market while continuing development on future products. Rob received the Governor General's Gold Medal for development and validation of the simulator during his education.
When taking a break from AHead, Rob enjoys skiing in the winter, and biking, golfing, and cottaging in the summer while keeping up to date with the latest in technology, computers, and start-ups.
John holds an undergraduate degree in Biomedical & Electrical Engineering from Carleton University and a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering from Western University.
John has over four years of software engineering experience in the communications, and defence industries before choosing to pursue his masters.
In his spare time, he plays competitive soccer, and the alto saxophone, his musical instrument of choice. His love for music and his engineering expertise find him here at AHead Simulations.
Justin Laing holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering From Western University.
Justin has worked as a design engineer in the medical devices, sports, and aerospace industries.
Outside of work, Justin spends his time playing sports, finding craft breweries and traveling. His work designing simulation systems for the medical industry and mechanical design expertise has brought him to AHead Simulations
